Reveal 9

A new release of Reveal (v9) is available to all users with a current license, and as a 14-day trial. This release is focused on addressing some of the issues that have cropped up with the beta versions of iOS and Xcode that Apple introduced at WWDC17, namely:

  • Reveal now recognizes _UIInteractiveHighlightEffectWindow as a system window, similar to UIStatusBarWindow, UITextEffectsWindow.
  • Adds support for capturing images from devices with wide gamut color support.
  • Fixes an issue where launching the Xcode 9.0 beta Simulators would fail when Xcode 9’s application bundle was set as the active developer directory.
  • Fixes a memory leak.

We’ll be adding support for new properties introduced in iOS and tvOS 11 in a future update, but please let us know if you find anything that doesn’t work as expected in the meantime.

Minimum System Requirements

  • macOS 10.11
  • iOS 8
  • tvOS 9
  • Xcode 7.3
